Gas Works — Letterpress Edition

For my solo show at Annie’s Art & Frame in Ballard, Seattle, I was invited to create a limited edition letterpress to release at the opening. Two color print, closed edition of 40, signed/titled/numbered by hand. Available on my Etsy at at Annie’s shop! Thanks to Demian Johnston for printing these.

Beacon Archipelago — for Objects of Affection show @ Statix Gallery

For this invitational, artists were invited to use secondhand/found objects as their canvas. I found this glass candle-house at Goodwill and collaged a watercolor landscape onto it for a surreal feeling, bending expectations of what seems to be outside and what’s inside.

Coconut + Rice — Sketching Southeast Asia

A catalog of works I made while traveling in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Thailand in 2016. I ran a Kickstarter campaign to create an edition of 60 hand bound books. A few copies are still available!

Sea Stack — for April Showers @ Statix Gallery

Participants were invited to create works on raindrop-shaped wood panels for a show in Seattle. I created a sea stack landscape (common to the Pacific Northwest coast) in collaged watercolor & ink. (sold)

Globehopper

In 2013, I ran a Kickstarter campaign to create a body of work based on Google Street View “location drawings”, and used the funds to travel for real in Europe. One product of this endeavor was a small edition of hardcover catalogs of all the works created for Globehopper. I designed the book, silkscreened the cover, and bound it by hand.

Also created for the project were several editions of silkscreen prints, which I pulled by hand. A scarce few are still available in my shop.
